Do I need to remove my current insulation?
NO, we lay the Eco Shield on top of your current insulation. There is no need to remove any insulation you already have.
Will the Eco Shield cause a moisture build up?
NO, the two layers of Aluminum are perforated 3/4 inches in every direction which allows the Eco Shield to breathe and moisture to escape.
Will the Eco Shield make my home more comfortable?
YES, absolutely it will. The Eco Shield reflects the Hot Radiant Heat away from the attic in the Summer. During the Winter the Heat that would normally escape into the attic is reflected back into the living quarters of the home.
What proof do you offer that it really works?
The technology is being used in many ways right now. The reflective coatings in a thermos, reflective automobile shades, wrapping a baked potato, survival blankets and food containers. This technology is also being used by NASA in their space crafts and space suits.
How durable is the Eco Shield?
Although it is lightweight and pliable, it is very resistant to punctures, tears and cracking. Conforms easily to fit complex shapes.
Is it safe for my home and the environment?
YES, it is very safe and environmentally friendly. Unlike most other insulations, you do not need any special clothing or protective equipment or materials when it is being installed. It is clean, non-toxic and is no threat for starting a fire.
How does the Eco Shield save me money?
It blocks the Radiant Hot Air from entering your home in the summer. It blocks the Radiant Heat from leaving your home in the winter. reduce the amount of Heat Gain and Heat Loss and you reduce the amount of energy consumption. When you lower your energy consumption you lower the amount of energy you pay for.
